Golden Delicious
Thie old favorite started as nearly a mistake seedling in the 1890s, and was named Mullin’s Yellow Seedling before it was renamed in 1916. Mellow and sweet, Goldens have pale yellow skin and flesh, and are perfect for eating out of hand, in a salad, or for baking.
